  • I got into this one and a couple of other small Utah banks last years when I saw that they were a little higher than national rates (something like 0.70% versus 0.50%). Whatever I made with this adjustment, I've lost over the last month or two as they have become uncompetitive. Nice folks at all of these places when I call, but it is time to move along now.

  • I know that there are bigger issues in this world, but this bank's ties to puppy mill funders will keep me away: https://www.americanbanker.com/news/tab-bank-dragged-into-seedy-world-of-puppy-mill-loans-by-fintech-partner

  • Their website is 1990s. That should have been the warning but I didn't heed it. ACH transfers limited to $3,000 inbound and outbound, no exceptions. Customer service is disinterested and not helpful. Then, as someone else here pointed out, they email you your account number. Save yourself the aggravation and go with another bank on this list. As in, any other bank on this list.
