My husband and I opened an account here. We were happy to get the slightly higher rate for a bit, but they were quick to lower it. And, then the fees started.

I've had a few online savings accounts - Marcus, Synchrony, Capital One, Ally and Purepoint. I'd recommend them all. Going for a small tiny bank like this in order to make a few extra $$$ is a waste, especially when you realize that the little bit you are making is fully taxable. My interaction with the customer service at Vio Bank proved this point and left me banging my head against the wall.
